  • Company Form 18 or (9) duly certified by the Registrar of companies(notice of situation of registered office and the registered postal address or any other change therein)
  • Company Form 20 or (7) duly certified by the Registrar of companies.(notification of appointment of directors and company secretary)
  • Trading License

 PARTNERSHIP

  • Certified Registration certificate by the registrar of companies
  • Form of particulars of partners and the business duly certified by the Registrar of companies.
  • 2 passport size photos of each partner/signatory to account.
  • Introducer/referee who must be a current account holder of good standing.
  • Partnership letter on bank format signed by all partners.
  • National Identity Card for Ugandan citizens is a MUST. Any other Identity Card is only an addition.
  • Proof of residence of partners using letter from local council (LC) 1 or domestic utility bill e.g. latest water or electricity bill.
  • Photocopy of the passports of the partners in case of foreign nationals with a valid work/resident permit.
  • Trading License
  • TIN Certificate

 SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP

  • Certified Registration certificate by the registrar of companies
  • Form of particulars of the proprietor duly certified by the registrar of companies.
  • 2 passport size photos of the proprietor.
  • Introducer/referee who must be a current account holder of good standing.
  • Letter of Sole proprietorship (on bank format)
  • Proof of residence of the proprietor using letter from Local Council (LC) 1 or domestic utility bill e.g. latest water or electricity bill.

National Identity Card for Ugandan citizens is a MUST. Any other ID is only an addition.

  • Photocopy of the passport of the sole proprietor in case of foreign nationals, with a valid work/resident permit.
  • Trading License
  • TIN Certificate

 NON PERSONAL ACCOUNTS FOR NGOs, CHURCHES, SCHOOLS OR CLUBS/TRUSTEES/

  • Certified Certificate of registration by the respective bodies
  • Certified Constitution/by-laws of the organization.
  • Approval from appropriate authorities (like Church Dioceses, District Education Officer, Government Authorities, etc.)
  • Certified resolution to open the account by Managing Committee.
  • 2 passport size photos of the prospective signatories to the account.
  • Introducer/referee who must be a current account holder of good standing.
  • National Identity Card for Ugandan citizens is a MUST. Any other Identity Card is only an addition.
